7th Guelph Group:
7th Guelph Group has been in the South/East corner of Guelph for 5 years. We currently have 16 Volunteers and 54 youth in our program. We are very active in the community, participate in apple day, hold a banquet during Scouting Week in February, attend scouting camps as well as our own camps and help with a community clean up around Earth Day plus more. We offer a great program for all ages.
Sections:
- Beavers (5-7 years old) - Monday 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm
Fun and adventure is the cornerstone of our Beaver program. Through an adventurous program of outdoor activities, creative play, music and cooperative games, Beavers enjoy time with their friends (and meet new ones), learn how to get along within a group and develop confidence to be themselves. The 7th Guelph Beaver Colony is open to boys and girls at Sir Isaac Brock Public School Gym.
- Cubs (8-10 years old) - Monday 7:00 pm to 8:30 pm
With the Cub motto of “Do your Best” front and centre, Cubs are encouraged to try new and more challenging activities. Learning important first aid skills, cooking over a fire or leading a game at camp will open the door for Cubs to try other adventurers they never thought possible. Our Pack continues to meet at Sir Isaac Public School Gym. All boys and girls are welcome to join the ‘Grand Howl’.
